Swap Free EX35 Roof Rails for Roof Trim

Does anybody have an EX 35 without roof rails. I would like to remove mine and cover the mounting holes with the factory trim pieces. I'm willing to give the roof rails away for free in exchange for trim pieces.

It was reported in the past that if your car doesn't come with roof rails you can't easily install them because you won't have the threaded bolt holes that the rail fasten to. I thought I would miss having rails when I got my car but it has been a year and I don't miss them. I also like the rail free look.

Thanks for the info. Guess I'll be keeping my rails. Can't driive around with threaded holes in my roof.

You could probably find someone to make you a lacquered carbon fibre roof for that Price... Now that would look sick.

Hmmmm. I think I`m the only one here in Wi with EX35 with no roof rail. Bought the car on Sept. 08 and had seen 5 EX35 on the road, but all have railings. Even in Illinois when I go there once or twice a month- Nadda! When drive my car for service in the dealership, all ex35 have roof rails.

I remember when I put a down on the EX35, they had to haunt down for a rail-less EX35 and found it 70 miles away from us. Should I consider my car a collector`s item?

Very odd but mine is roof railless too, but even with my package? I would have expected it to come with it..
