Im getting close to buying a 300z convertible but it has high miles. Its in really great condition otherwise so its looking hard to pass up. With that in mind i am thinking of making a twin turbo swap. Im sure this question has been asked a million times but i cant seem to find it in the search. How much does a twin turbo and trans go for and whats a fair price for making the swap. I would love to do it myself and save money but i really dont have time to do it..especially these days with work. Im new to the import world as well. I live in so cal so if anyone has any good suggestions please shoot.
Thanks in advance.

Z1 will do the complete swap for you with the popular stage 3 upgrades for $8750, they will sell the the front cut with standard replacement and upgrade items for $4950, if you sounrce your own engine and pieces you can cut that price down but when shopping forr an engine a front cut is the way to go, any pallet motor not including the speedometer is an unknown miles engines and anyone who tells you different is lying or stupid, wiht a frotn cut you get the speedo so you see the miles and the body help to protect the engine during shipping as well as providing many of the other bits you need like intercoolers piping etc

If it's from a NA to a TT, you're in for a LOT of work. If you really want to do such a swap, I'd reccommend getting a hold of a shop manual for that car that includes both versions. You'd be amazed at how different things are put together inside the two cars. They may look similar, but wow are they different! Even if you aren't going to do the swap yourself, I'd go the route Evil mentioned - get the whole front cut.
