Sorry for the delay in posting pics. Tried to change my e-mail address with NICO and my account got disabled. WE finally got things back to normal:ylsuper

I finished the swap almost a month ago and have been fixing some of the minor annoyances with my 11 year old car.

Thanks to Steve and Benoit for all the help with the swap!

Bought the motor and most of the parts from JGY Customs. They were great to deal with and had great prices too. I highly reccomend them!

Any one want to donate $$ for the Silvia Conversion and paint job?

Still have some things to finish in the interior

Wheels have been on order since Feb. - Should be here end of next month - 17x8.5 F and 17x9.5 R

Bart,

I'll give you a shout and maybe we can get together in a couple of weekends. I'm house hunting now so its a little crazy. We will get together and take some pics of the 2 cars for the forum.

This is my favorite shot of the engine!

Yeah I know I wont be the first with the Silvia Front End - Dammit Jay! - Last time I saw his it was sitting in front of his house - didn't look like it was any where close to operational - but I could be wrong.

I bought the pedals off a broup buy - they are the generic ones that have Silvia machined in them - I'll try and get a better pic of them later this week. I like them better that the old ones I had in my probe - they affixed with these ghetto clamps and always came loose. The ones in the coupe required me to drill through the old pedals and secure them that way. They feel great on the feet.

Paint is not that good looking in person - too many dings and scratches.

BArt - I also saw a black coupe running around with a Silvia conversion - have not seen it in a while - Someone told me they live near the lake? Dunno?

It's still in the same place you saw it last. He's been busy getting the black S14 running so he can sell it. He's just got too many projects dangling about right now and hasn't had the time to finish up the red 'vert.

I've heard of a few people with silvia conversions living in the area, but have never seen them. I saw one guy that had done an S15 conversion to his S13 back in february when i was at the lynchburg auto-x.

Once I have income again, then I'll have my Silvia front end. But finding a good job is proving difficult

yes it is the enjuku pipe - ARRGH - i had issues with it but no big deal. Sounds like Jay has a lot going on, I hope to get the conversoin done over the winter and get it painted this spring - we'll see how that progresses with the house purchase and all. I wish it would stop raining so i could drive the car!

the rain is sucking hard core. at least it stayed dry long enough last sunday for me to get my 4 runs in at the autocross.

hopefully, if i can land a job this summer, i can get the body panels and have it prepped to be painted by late summer. But we'll see

I never catch the autocross events - always find out a week late - oh well, I guess I'll have to wait for the next one -

Maybe I will have to make the autocross an inpromptu drift event another time!

YOUR CAR IS OFF THE HOOK DOG!

Dude that car is crazy sleeper. I love the SLEEPER LOOK you have obtained. Reminds me of my car. I kept the stock wheels and mounted a set of drag radials on a second set of stock rims.

Only Volvo intercoolers right?:D

That little sleeper look allowed me to surprise the hell out of a red EVO in town - it was the first person I ran with since I finished the swap - by the time he realized that it was more than a regular 240 I was a good car a head of him, I know it really does not count but hey - it was the first one for me:naughty

hot pipe is from Enjuku - the issues is that their website shows the pipe with the nipple for the vacuum hose - the new ones don't have them - and it is a bit too short imo - but hey it works and is shiny:Werd

lol, oops - that what happens when the throttle body was bent open in shipping and I did not realize it - and I didn't tighten the hot pipe it all the way - :doh

Talk about a surprise!

hey at least I was the one starting the car - not the one with thier head a foot away!

There are some explanations for that :beer :bonghit

his hotpipe wasn't tightened down all the way and it popped off when they started the motor up. His friend was standing in front of the engine and jumped when the hotpipe started swinging towards him.
