swap done. Question #1

i have swapped my auto transmission out for a 5 speed on my 91 240. It will get me around but quick shifts are out of the question. I have a new clutch, new master and slave cylinder, resurfaced flywheel, shortened drive shaft, etc. But I have grinding into 3rd above 2500 rpm after I have been driving for about 5 minutes. also, when I put it in 2nd or 3rd when im on it, it will go in but make a funny noise like something is not lined up, so I have to re-shift and revmatch a lot. any ideas?

You may have to adjust the clutch. If that doesn't work re blead the clutch line. If that doesn't work you might have some bad syncros in the transmission. Nick
