My friend found a swap for his nissan.
he's got a 85 Nissan 2dr 4x4 with the ka carb that's on it's last leg.
he found a cheap 86 nissan with a v6 3.0

is it a bolt in swap?
which driveshaft can he use.

does the stock 3.0 manifold bolt in with little clearance issues?
I think he wants to stay carb not fuel injected. Is it just switching the ecu and rewiring a few things to go fuel injected? Fuel lines/pump?

let me know what information I can pass onto him!

zack.

85 would be a z24, and the v6 uses a different transmission.

They never put a V6 in a 720, so nothing is going to be a bolt in. it shouldn't be that bad, but as stated, you need the transmission, wiring harness, etc. from the donor.
