unless someone gave you a wrecked car with the VQ and you have a lot of free time, I wouldn't even bother. You would need the engine, transmission, ECU and wiring harness, along with the dash.
You would need to:
1) fabricate engine mounts2) install VQ30 engine, transmission and axles3) swap wiring harnesses/rewire entire harness4) find a way to install the VQ30 dash and instruments
I have seen ONE swap done before like this on the .org, but the guy didn't answer questions very well. He had some mechanic friend do most of the work for him. I am not saying it's impossible, but it would take a lot of time and effort to do.
It would be much simpler to either sell your car and save up for a newer model or if you have engine problems, buy a JDM engine. If you want to have more power in a 3rd gen, your best bet is to sell your GXE AT and buy a 92-94 SE 5-speed. That will give you 190 hp and a better top end than a stock 4th gen.
Putting in a VQ30DE is not really an upgrade from a VE30DE as far as performance. My car is as fast as pretty much any 4th gen that isn't swapped with a 3.5L, or has some kind of forced induction or nitrous.
