Is it possible to swap my Altima '03's engine with a Skyline engine?

Only reason I ask is because I have easy access to them at a decent price.

That would be tough to do. Altima's are FWD and I think Skylines are RWD. The conversion would be such a headache, if its even possible. Hopefully someone with more mechanical knowledge will give you more info.

Anything is possible but it would take some serious fabrication and a serious bankroll. The Altima is FWD while the Skyline is RWD. In order to get the driveshaftto clear for the rear you would have to fabricate an entirenew rear subframe and not to mention you would have to stretch the tunnel for the driveshaft to even reach the rear.

That would be cool if you did it but i think you should just save your money and time and just stick with the VQ.
