suspicious activity: I saved the day!

yeah so I just got back from my girlfriend's house, parked my car, walked inside and started to get ready for bed when I hear some walking around outside on the street. Now, I live on a dead-end road in a pretty quiet part of town so people walking around at 1:45am is pretty unusual. I look out the window and what do I see? THREE fuc*kin kids looking into my s13, and 2 more digging around in the guy accross the street's car!

I called the police right away and then grabbed my big wooden bat and walked out on the front steps yelling "WHAT THE FU*K DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!?!" They all scatter, most of them go down the street (towards the main street), and I swear to god it was like something you'd see on Cops- the police get to the end of my street right at that second and cut them off, nabbing 2 of them right off the bat. Hahahah holy sh it!! I talked to a couple of the officers just now (about a half hour after it all started) and it looks like they got everybody. I checked my car and nothing is missing, they dropped my CD case on the sidewalk when they started to run and that was it.

Oh man I'm so pumped right now I donno if I can get to sleep! FIGHTIN CRIME BABY, GOT THOSE LITTLE BASTARDS!

your a lucky bastard man. when my car got broken into, they smashed my passanger side window, took my head unit, broke my transmission, stole my box, and i didnt hear a thing. so much for that guard dog i bought. sad thing is it was in my driveway.

yeah I know, christ... about 5 minutes later and I probably woulda had my headphones on or something and they would have gotten away with who knows what... The car is RIGHT outside my window in the driveway, too. :sad

Hahaha F-in little bastards! I've had so much Shizat stolen out of my cars, a couple stereos+amps+subs. My bro's car was stolen and the rims kyped (left sitting on the rotors in a parking lot).Bastards!how old were those kids?

you are my hero. between 2 cars, i have had them broken into 3 times. Nobody has touched my 240 so far, but damnit if they do. You rock man, awesome story! I'm glad to hear those little punk bastards get caught sometimes.

I'd press as many charges as I can. Good thing the cops came. If they didn't you shouldve just gone after one and broke his legs. How old were these kids anyways? Props to you, Fiz.

Also, you might want to invest in an alarm. And keep the bat next to your bed.

Beside my bed...my girlfriend has mentioned getting me a rather nice Kris Cutlery 28 inch Catana for Christmas...differentially tempered and everything

hahah thanks guys... right place at the right time, I guess.

...although I woulda LOVED to get a crack at one of those little bastards. The car was far enough away from my door though that I think they would have just run away and dissapeared if I came outside with my bat right away. I woulda tried to sneak up on them but I didnt want to give them ANY chance to start messing up my dash trying to pry out the stereo or something like that, I just wanted em AWAY from the s13 :gunmounte

I'm going to press charges I think, but also these kids were run-aways from a youth correctional facility that's a couple miles away from me. This used to happen alot more when I was younger, they'd come by and try to jack our bikes or something to make a "fast escape." Guess this time they were looking for keys, maybe? So yeah, they're pretty screwed right now as it is, but I think I'll be glad to add onto their punishment.

Hahaha and yup... boxer shorts with hearts on em (yea yea...) and a white t-shirt! I was lookin MEEEAAN!

I have a 12-gauge that's non-lethal but hurts like hell at about 50 yards. I'd have backed way the heck up, and shot the fool out of them. Only way to teach kids a lesson......hell I'm a kid and I hate kids.........what's that say for the state of this country..........
