First time poster, new member. Be gentle. 2009 M35. Only mod is 20 inch wheels and smoked out windows. I need the car to handle high speed off ramps and transitions better. Happy to sacrafice comfort. I am not a gear head so tell me what to have someone else do to my car. Any suggestions are welcome.

Get some D2 coilovers. Buying them and install will be around $1000 I think. You can adjust your ride height and spring rated depending on if you want more comfort or better handling, in your case you want handling. The adjustment of coilovers will allow you to fine tune the suspension to how you want it. Both lowering a bit and stiffening the springs will give you better turning capability by lowering your center of gravity and helping to prevent body roll.

Usually coilovers have a range of somewhere between 6kg - 20kg from what I have seen, but it depends on the model. Stock spring rate is around 6.5kg from what I remember. Someone here is selling their k-sport coilovers right now for a good price, but they are meant for the M35x not the regular M35. The difference being the regular models default spring rate is 8.7k and these m35x ones start at a default of 16kg spring rate and goes up from there.
Ride height is usually adjustable anywhere from 0.5in drop to 2-3in drop.

Other very good coilovers would be Tein Type Flex or Comfort Sport models. Those also have an optional in car electronic adjustment system that allows you to adjust in on the fly while driving.

If you want something cheaper then just get lowering springs. For the absolute best handling with just changing springs you should get Tein S.Tech. It has the largest drop of any spring for our car, but is also about twice as stiff as stock. But that sounds like what your looking for. It will give some nice cornering improvements :) You just dont get the adjustment ability like you would with coilovers. S.Tech springs + install will run you around $300-350 probably
