first . i read somewhere - the ball joint can be replace with the "ball joint press" which i can get at autozone and also can get a 300z's ball joint which is the same at usautoparts.com i dont want to buy a used control arm from ebay would like have a new ball joint so to avoid future problems ,im still have to remove the lower control arm  question is:
has anybody remove this arm before and will i have to remove the bearing hub to remove the arm . i cant find any detail instructions on the service manual . thanks a bunch again

I'm on my 3rd set of ebay control arms (3 different cars). I got them all from AM auto and they have worked as good as OEM. And a lot less hassle to install. I tried to press ball joints on the kids ford contour and the stamped steel didn't hold up well. Didn't bend or anything but it didn't seem like the new joint pressed in tight. At least with the complete unit you get new bushings to. Which if your ball joints are shot it's likely the bushings are.
