I love my 300zx and am happy with the power it has stock (always room for improvement though) and love the suspension but i would like to eventually make both amazing but am pretty broke. Wondering wat you guys think i should do first suspension or engine

For the engine looking at the basic headers/exhaust/intake kinda thing and for the suspension thinking about some nice coilovers, i love drifting and gotten halfway decent at it.

Any advice appreciated and any companys that you would recommend for either, thanks

I would improve power with using the more inexpensive bolt-ons first.

This is why:

IMO the Z suspension is very good stock and difficult to improve on.CoilOvers can be very expensive especially high quality ones and I feel with a set of Eibach and Togiko Blues ( or the basic KYB's) you can do nearly as well for afraction of the cost.

But if your stock suspension is in good shape ( ( shocks springs, bushings) there is never sucha thing as too much power. But there is such a thung as too much stiffness.

I seen tooo many folks buy coilovers and and adjust them improperly and have less control (especially at speeds when encountering bumps) than before.

Fred..

Maybe I missed this at some point but, what year 300zx do you have and is it N/A or TT?

The intake/exhaust/headers idea is great. Start with the intake in which JWT makes good Nissan products.

After you find out what parts you want you can check out Nico's sponsors and I'm sure you can find what your looking for.

Most NA Z32 owners will tell you that the trouble headers are to install makes them not really worthwhile. For suspension mods, here's what I have on my 95TT:
