what is the difference between the suspension on my 240sx and all of the others ive seen? appearance wise theyre almost exactly the same except for one thing, some of my suspension components have a little green circle on them, about the size of a dime. its a heavily loaded 89 standard, no se or le or stuff like that. the window sticker (yeah, got it for 1200 bucks and it came with full documentation and everything, crazy eh?) says it has "sport tuned suspension" that was an extra 2400 bucks or something. ive never driven another 240sx, but i can tell you that even though my car needs new bushings and all of that stuff replaced, body roll is almost nonexistant. but thats what the 240sx was built to be like, right? a little insight on this would be greatly appreciated.thanks,

the sport tuned suspension was an option you could choose. It mainly came with the 240's with lsd from what i'm told. For 2400 you got a better suspension system Nissan said, bigger sway bars, better shocks and tc rods. I also have that, but here I am replacing my shocks, springs, tie rod ends and T/C rods, lol

i believe the dots have something to do with identifying each suspension piece.

You need HICAS in order to have the LSD, AFAIK.

oh yeah, forgot about that little bit of information. got a little carried away. better luck next time, and i guess ill have to go buy one still. oh well.

is there any big difference in stiffness or is it quite marginal or what? are the spring rates much higher or not? if anyone has the specific numbers, id love them forever. haha, well, maybe not quite like that, but id appreciate it greatly. keep them coming guys!

from now on please make the thread title relative to the subject at hand, not something like "um like there is this thingy...". This is why people can never find stuff when they search.

Doubt it... the dampening and the spring rate might be a small amount harder... but I doubt it's anything too extreme.
