coilovers are a million times better than a spring/shock combo.

HE's are a pretty common route for upgraded suspension. they just don't go as low as someone like me would like. which is retarded low. if you want to go stupid low, check out tanabe dd's

yep, he's are a good set, not quite as nice some other sets but they are probably the most "tried and true" coilover for the 240. there are better sets out there but most people would tell you he's are more than adequate for almost any level of driving, you can change the valving and spring rates if you ever get to the point where you need that.

I have pics of He's set as low as they will go on an s13 if you want to see how low you will be able to set it.

this is with the front maxed out at the lowest setting(without pre-compressing the springs) and the rear could be maybe 1/2" lower if you wanted. The pic in ,my sig is also at the same setting but a little harder to see.*edit* for some reason nico doesnt like the pics i post, never run into problems on any other forums tho, but just click this link:http://www.cardomain.com/id/s14driftr most of the pics on page 1 are set the same.

the front camber is 2.8 neg, the tires are also slightly shorter overall diameter than stock, but only .1" so it shouldnt be noticable.

try looking into the KTS coilovers from splparts.com. a friend of mine got them, and i like them more than my old set of HE's.

i just bought some D2 coilovers... they seem pretty decent for about a grand give or take a few bucks. you can also look at megan coilovers.

ill have some pics once my car comes back from paint and installing all my new parts.

BTW the pic should be of it stupid low... as low as they will go.
