were the springs previously on the sedan or the coupe?audtatious wrote:I will probably put the h-techs up for sale. I'm just running around too much right now to really think about it.
Car is a bit stiff and I need to adjust the shock settings when I get time. Work issues kept me from getting an alignment and my HFC's installed today. I'm on the road the next 3 days.
No time for the weary.
in my research on springs, i have read a few applications where coupe springs were installed on sedans. how would this be different? i would imagine the sedan springs bear more of a weight load (possibly). the coupes obviously differ from coupe to sedan otherwise there wouldnt be different part numbers.audtatious wrote:They were on my coupe, I replaced them with the BC's. The sedan is the wife's and she wants to keep it stock
never would have thought sedans were lighter.joe603 wrote:The sedans are actually lighter than the coupes...however, I'd assume that the springs are more aggressive on the coupes unless you have the sport suspension.
The Eibach's should install just like the H-Techs:timmy0257 wrote:just bought my Eibachs from Michael @ TunerzStore today. I am looking forward to your write-up, audtatious.
thanks matt. i already looked at this write-up and have prepared myself for the install. i was interested to know if the tools needed would vary from the coupe to the sedan though. i would imagine not. for example, the size sockets for the bolts, etc.audtatious wrote:The Eibach's should install just like the H-Techs:timmy0257 wrote:just bought my Eibachs from Michael @ TunerzStore today.
