I plan on upgrading my s13's suspension within the next few weeks. I just picked up my Eibach pro kit springs, and plan on buying Tokico struts. I was thinking about doing this install on my own, and not taking it to a shop, but was wondering if anyone has run into any big problems. this is the first thing i've done to my car so far, so any pre-install insight from someone with experience would be great. It seems like its a pretty straight forward install, just removing the old unit, and replacing it with the new one, so I dont think theres much to worry about. Just wanted to ask around....just incase.

It's easy. Did mine in 4 hours with a friend's help and numerous beer siestas.

Read this DIY thread, it will tell you everything you need to know.

The only tool you may not have is a spring compressor. I bought one because, for some bizarre reason, none of the auto stores around me rented them. It was $30 at Autozone.

Thanks for the link, I forgot about that page. Sucks the pictures dont work, but oh well. I actually dont have a torque wrench either, another thing i need to pick up. Does anyone know part numbers by chance of the numerous peices that I will have to use from my stock suspension? like the "hat" and washers and stuff he talks about in that thread. I'm too lazy right now, i have to wake up for work in 6 hours and i just want to sleeeeep.
