just when i think ive done enough stupid things to know better.

i dont know what they mean by bulge but they didnt seem to be bulging so i just kept tightening. the result was me having to buy new bolts and nuts. so essentially you just tighten em down until you feel like you shouldnt tighten anymore and be happy you didnt strip the threads.

i gotta say those bushings are tough cause i had to pry my box wrench off one. it took some serious pressure and returned to its original shape instantly.

they should start top bulge in the front noticably. in the rear i had to use washers under the nut for the bolt to make the bushings "bulge". it seems that there shuld be more threads on the bolt. i suppose you could also run a dye down the bolt to make more threads

is it just me or does none of the hardware they send you fit correctly? Ive got the front bar ready to go.

since the brackets are thicker you cant reuse the original nut. no problem just grab the one off the endlink.

instructions say use 2 washers under the rear bolt hole but on a flat surface it looks like it could use 3 to level it off.

the heads on the bolts they send with it are 17mm so i cant get a socket on it so forget about torquing it and it looks like an open ended wrench is a tight squeeze, but i cant even get it threaded in by hand. the last thing i need is a crossthreaded bolt.

so im gonna try it again with the 2 washers and see if it makes a difference. otherwise im thinking about reaming out the front bolt hole.

i dont think im cut out to be a mechanic
