I have the S-Techs and AGX's (super low budget) and I like them.

Remember the vert will wind up quite a bit lower than a coupe or hatch, so be prepared for that.

my car is a daily driver, and the S-techs complement the AGXs very well. Also, the ride should be smoother than the GR-2s. The GR-2s aren't strong enough, so the spring can't do its job effectively, so the ride ends up being bumpy. The AGXs can do the job better because they keep the spring as uncompressed as possible.

I used to keep my AGXs on settings 1 and 2, front rear respectively, and the ride was attrocious. That was my setting for the stock springs and then the S-Techs when I got them. I changed the damping levels to 2 and 4, front reare, and it smoothed the ride out 3 fold.

i forgot to mention that im goin to be running in stock rims and 205/60r15s so i dont want to drop the car too low and experience major rubbing. and if anyone has comments on the h techs that would be great.

i ran with 195/60s on my old stock alloys, and had no problems with rubbing. I'm running 225/55s on my new 16" wheels and still have no rubbing issues

The picture in my sig should show you the wheel gap left

i got mine from advance auto and payed around $100 per damper once you factored in my friend's employee discount.

I'm new to the site and still trying to learn. I have experienced a pull to the left consistently on my 93 vert. I have aligned, balanced, changed tires to no avail. Should I be looking at the suspension, struts, etc? Also, have a bumpy ride at lower speeds. Any thoughts. Thanks.

the pull to the left could be due to a brake caliper not releasing properly. doubtful, but possible. A pulling sensation like that is usually either torque steer (which a 240 can't have) or bad toe.

The bumpiness is probably due to a blown shock. Go out and push on the corner of the car. If it oscillates up and down instead of coming to rest back in it's static state, the shock for that corner is blown.

the pull you speak of is surely suspension problems, given proper inflation and balancing of tyres. Some things to consider:1- tension control rod problems (bent or bushings, for your low speed rattling)2- lower control arm damage(perhaps from a curb) as the car can be aligned and after 10 mins of driving, it drifts out of whack again.3- tie rod failure/give on the drivers side.

hope that helps,-Jarret
