I am going to be looking into suspension for my '97 S14 and I was wondering what you guys would recommend for mostly daily driving and some track use. I want to do a coilover setup, mostly since I want the ability to raise or lower the ride height. Out of the Big companies, such as TEIN, Tanabe, Apex'i, and JIC what would you recommend with a price range of $1,000-1,500. Î don't need some crazy *** setup worth thousands, I just want to make sure I do it right the first time. Anyone want to share there experiences?

TEIN HE or Flex is good for daily driven and track. If you get Apex'i, don't get the world sport version 'cause they stink. i say teins, but ask other people what they think

What is the advantage of getting the pillowball mounts like with the TEIN HE's? They basically elimate the slop of the upper rubber mount and you can adjust camber, but what other purposes or advantages do they serve?

I'd suggest a coilover setup, as well as a full set of adjustable suspension arms to re-align the suspension geometry of the vehicle. This will not only save you money (tires), but it will provide superior handling capability.

I invite you to take a quick peek at what we have to offer for the S14 :)http://www.splparts.com

I drive an S14 and have experience with the suspension setups, feel free to email me with any questions, comments, etc.[email protected]
