After much deliberation and a ton of help from the good people of these forums, I've decided on my new suspension setup.

I plan on starting with a set of four Koni Sport (AKA Yellows) adjustable shocks.

After I drive around on the Konis for a while, I want to get some Cusco pillowball mount bearing plates to replace my rubber OE mounts.

Final step, some strut tower bars and new bushings...

So, what do you think? Can anyone see any flaws in this that I may have missed (besides the wallet crushing price of it all)?

The only think I'm not sure about is the strut boots. My strut boots are torn and need to be replaced. New OE boots are a whopping $25 each from my local Nissan dealer. That's a lot of money for a hunk of rubber.

Does anyone know if the KYB boots will fit over the Koni's? The KYB's are only $12 each as I recall.

Yeah, I see a major flaw...springs. You haven't listed any. :)

Sway bars is easy. I'll do them at some point.

The springs issues is a bit more difficult for me. I'm gonna stick with my stock springs until I find an aftermarket spring I really like.

I don't really want much of a drop, nor am I completely sold on a lot of the progressive rate springs out there.

So, I'm basically looking for a stiff spring with a very modest drop, probably a linear rate spring.

I'm really undecided on the spring issue, so I'm gonna put it off. First priority is to replace the weakened parts. Since the springs aren't a wear item, they will wait.

Yeah...I forgot about that. It boggles the mind that there's such a thing as a $50 hunk of rubber. I need to get a good look at my rear boots. The front ones are torn, but the rear *might* be OK. In the end, I'll probably end up spending $150 for all four.

My total suspension mod should cost about $1100. This includes the PBM's, the struts and new boots. This seemed expensive, until I realized that the dealer would charge me almost $1000 for only two front struts and two front boots, installed.

What kind of drop do you get? I'm looking for something less than 1.5".

I have a little question of my own. i want to lower my 93 coupe. my ideas for the ideal setup include: ST sway bars underneath, eibach pro kit, and agx shocks. my biggest ordeal is the springs. eibach pro lower 1.8, but sportline lower 2.2; tein came into mind due to price but it is only a 1.5 drop. which is better? ive heard that with sportline, the car may bottom out. any comments????? i want as low as possible though with a nice ride, and of course no camber issues. fyi, this is a street car, no Motor X no auto X no X, lol. i drift enough on the wet. lol. help me please.

I think I've considered every spring in existence by now. ;)

I have thought about the S-Tech's, but I've heard the drop on our cars is a lot lower than advertised...somewhere close to 2".

It would be really cool to have a little user-submitted database of "real world" drops for all of the popular springs. Quite frankly, I don't trust a lot of the numbers released by the manufacturers.

I feel your pain. I'm struggling with the spring issue too.

I do know that the AGX/Pro-Kit combo is pretty popular. I would personally be a little skeptical of the AGX/Sportline combo. I don't think the Sportline's are gonna give you very good ride quality for a street car, but that's just my opinion. Some people seem to like the Sportline's, some hate 'em.
