Has anyone tried the suspension kits sold on ebay as complete with control arms, ball joints, stabilizer bar struts, inner/outer tie rods for about $125 delivered? Sounds like one of those "too good to be true" packages. I am looking to refresh my QX4 suspension which is suffering from clunks and shudders. While I was in there, I also thought about renewing wheel bearings and strut towers. This is a family 2nd car, and replacement with a different used car is not a slam dunk... high potential of buying someone elses problem.

My Qx4 needs:
Idle Air Control Valve -- just done this weekend... so far so good!
ABS ECU solder re-flow
tires + alignment
fix clunking front suspension
front wheel bearing 'roar'
replacement audio head unit... no tunes

Do you have a link to what you're talking about?

Here is one...

There are several that seem to use the same parts grouping picture. Prices vary +/- $20. Most include free shipping

Sorry can't help .. but did you try to find anyone selling them you could call?

A few years back the front axel boots on my E320 Mercedes 4matic Wagon failed -- to fix the boots properly required removal of the axels .. with 120k on them and no one available to rebuild -- I went looking for an alternative to the $1200 each OE's. The aftermarket ones are $80 each ...I was skeptical of an $80 axel. I actually found a seller in CA that I was able to speak to .. he gave me good advise on what to buy .. bought both from him. The quality was surprising .. and they have performed well over the years.

It's really a crap shoot with these parts -- I'm always afraid of the rubber ... many of the boots/joints/mounts don't hold up especially the parts from India.

I would try and call ... and if you do purchase .. report on the quality.
