I'm looking to redo the suspension on my newly bought 95 240, it has 130,000, and I think it might have stock shocks and struts, I wanting some good springs, and new shocks and struts, I don't want a horrible stiff ride, just nice handling and a decently comfortable ride. Any recommendations?Should I change out any bushings, or anything of the sort?

I did, not much help with what I was asking. Maybe someone else might be able to help.

well you didn't mention lowering it, so just go with OEM. if you're riding around on shocks with 130000 miles they're completely gone. you'll know the difference with new ones. yes, replace all the bushings you can. look around there with the wheel off, if it's rubber it's probably a bushing, if not it's a boot and that'll need to be replaced to. like other rubber items, it should never be reused. learned that in health class

The most popular thing seems to be Tokico Blues about 300 for the complete set, and eibach prolines which go for about 220 for the set of 4 .I have this setup but with the eibach sportlines and recommend this setup for someone who doesnt worry about possible scraps and rougher ride but very very sporty. If you can come up with 800-1000 nix all of this and get coilovers. Do somemore research though I waited aboout 6 mnths just to make sure i was doin it right.Goog Luck:ylsuper

If you can't afford the coilovers, which are the best thing you can get, you should go with Eibach Sportlines and Koni adjustable shocks (yellow ones). Just my $.02
