Having replaced most of my suspension with new OEM parts, I am really enjoying the difference in ride comfort, handling and generally quieter ride.

However, I have an annoying rubber type squeak when I stop or start off from rest. I have isolated to the bushing within the drivers side lower rear control arm. Unfortunately the bushings are not available separately so I am going to have to spring for $218 for a complete part. Then there is the question of whether I should replace the other side also.

Has anyone had any success with any other solution such as using silicone grease around the bushing or is this a waste of time?

I have been working hard on my suspension too. It's the best feeling ever when it's right. If it were me I'd replace the one part now that is bad and replace the other side later on when you are ready or when it needs it.

I would say do both so they have the same tolerance and war rate side to side.
