suspension questions

I'm sure this is in the wrong place but I'm going to ask it here anyway, lol

I just bought a 89 coupe, and I plan on autox it and road racing it (IE willow springs) :ylsuper possiably drifting to better learn to grip drive, but I need know what would be a good spring step up to go with,

now I'll be hoenst I don't have alot of money I'm only looking to spend $800 at the most on the whole suspension step up, well struts and springs. cause I need to paint the car and replace the motor,

I really like my friends tien springs, but he's an s14, let me know

also this is a daily driver..

I've heard KYB AGX's mounted with tein springs works well. You could also look for a used set of HE coilovers (very nice-I own a set).
