Hey all, so i have all my suspension parts picked out, coils, struts, and shock absorbers,

im ordering all those from 4x4parts.

now i have a few questions, i've been searching around and seeing what else i need.

What i have came up with so far is 2 kits of the strut mount assembly for pass and driver side from courtesyparts.com

and i think i also need bushings for the rear, along with the bolts for the absorbers in the rear, but im not entirely sure

for all these mounts and nuts, i rather got OEM and get them from courtesyparts.com

So anything else i need for suspension mounts / bolts etc. i would like to know. Or the links or item numbers of the parts.

Thanks.

EDIT: also do i need a spring/strut compressor to rent or a coil compressor?

list looks good, might wanna look at the condition of the dust boots and replace those if they look frayed and yes you will need a coil compressor for the front, in the rear i think you can get away without the use of compressor since you will be changing the shocks you can drop the axle far enough to replace the springs by hand

thanks, for clarifying which compressor i need, and then also, which nuts, bushing etc, do i need to replace in the rear, cause i remember reading a post on here mabye it was about the nuts on the absorbers in the rear being really hard to get off, and if you get s***ty ones they can break on the road.?

pretty much to clarify what i need for the rear and im good.

ok thanks again man.

So, so far i got

CoilsStrutsAbsorbers

all that from 4x4parts

2 strut mount assemblys

from courtesyparts

Get the nuts, washers, bolts and whatever else i need for those bolts

from dealership.

Rent a coil compressor,

and lastly, do i need any bushing for the back? since i rather put them in now instead of taking it all apart again later.

Fueler, do you know if you need to have a wheel alignment done after replacing the front struts?I've had conflicting advice on this one.Thanks.

I would, chances are you'll also need a camber kit for each side as well.

im not the person to ask cause i had a weird story. For many years, no alignment shops could make my car drive straight. I went to the best of the best and my QX4 always pulled right.

after i lifted it, i got an alignment done and all of a sudden it drives straight. Like it was meant to be
