hey guys... I just got my SPL suspension stuff... First off, JEEZ this stuff is beefy... Got front and rear upper adjustables and the tension rods.....

I got this stuff lightly used... On the tension rods and rear links, the bearings come off fairly easy.. Should I put some grease in them before I install? The little bearing things can be seperated.....

Alos, how do I adjust them... The tension rods, i think i just loosen the 2 outer nuts... I looked at the directions on SPL..... I think thats how you do it but I want to verify.....

Also, im running this on my Q45.. What would you guys recommend for alignment specs... I may auto cross this but Id like to keep this as a fairly streetable setup..... IM also running staggered wheels/tires so i cant rotate.....

TIA!!!!!!!

Wes, the bushings in the multi link aprts should all be pillow ball (heim joint), and shouldn't separate..they're permanently lubed teflon units IIRC. No need to grease them or anything (in fact it will make them perform worse..)

And yes, you loosed the two lock nuts, twist the center shaft to adjust and lock it in place...

Alignment specs...do you have a front camber adjusment? Is this for mostly street, autocross, etc?

Yeah i have front camber arms... This is on my Q45 so it goes thru tires fast enough as it is... Something that will handle good and my tires will still last.

well, the rear multilink has much more camber gain under compression/loading than the front I should think...does the Q45 ahve a double wishbone front or a mcpherson design?

Also, what does the car tend to drive like? Lift throttle over or understeer, etc?

The suspension is basically the Z32 suspension for all benefits and purposes.. Thats why im using all Z32 things...

If anything its fairly understeerish.. Even with my bigger rear sway bar it still likes to understeer. With the 225 front tires and 265 rear tires going on thats not going to help at all.....
