I would like to illicit some opinions on which way to go. I do not ever plan on drifting the car. I live a ways from work and do not get a take home unit because of the distance. My 240sx is a 1992 with around 160,000 on it. I was wondering about the suspension. How do you tell what you need to replace if anything. I figure with that many miles I need to replace everything except I do not want to pay a ton for a bunch of stuff I need. I just want it to ride better. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might want to try reading in here and then posting if you don't find your answer.

Just replace your worn out rubber suspension bushings with polyeurathane ones. If your shocks/struts/tie rods aren't broke, then don't fix them.

A few aftermarket parts that should increase your ride quality:
The Nismo Power Brace

Or the cheaper version by Jonnie Fraz

Subframe support braces

I am willing to try the Fraz version. Thanks for the suggestion. Replacing the bushings, how much would that cost, and is that something someone can do or is it better to take it to a shop?

Also depends on tools and patience. If you don't have a press, a torch and some pliers (combined with an abundance of patience) you don't want to do bushings yourself.

I've been quoted about $500 for labor by a shop to do a full bushing replacement... including the b*tchazz subframe bushing.

But you might be able to skip doing the subframe bushing if you just get the subframe support brace. It's not as hardcore, but you should still feel a difference.
