Suspension Question

Hi, Im buying new suspension (strucks/Shocks, and New Coilovers), Im buying KYB AGX's, and undecided on the lowering system. for a whole new suspension. IE. throw out old and battered strusts/shocks and crappy coilovers. all i need to do is buy these following 2 items correct?

Once I buy both those 2. thats all I need right? just rip out the shocks/strust spring which when I go over the littlest bump my car has like no suspension....

it will fix that right? thats what a mechanic at a local place said. all I need is new struts/shocks/lowering springs and I will be set...

and at last. is there any other springs i should buy that go better with the KYB AGX's?

I personally think that you should use a replacement spring for the AGX's. I have the Tein S-Tech springs, and they work beautifully. The Eibach spring set is also another good choice. I don't like these eBay coilovers that people get because you have to do welding and whatnot to get them on, and then that just adds one more point of possible failure. With using an eibach or Tein spring, they go in as if stock, and are fully compatible with the AGX's. No need to cut, weld, or fab anything.

i don't know much about coilovers. i hear they are better than replacing with new struts/shocks and lowering springs. right now i have Eibach lowering springs with KYB non-adjustabe struts/shocks. i haven't had any regrets. a friend of mine replaced his stock springs with some TEIN springs. not sure what kind, but i hear TEINs are expensive.
