you would want to match a set of dampers to those springs if that is what you end up on.

i usually end up saying the same thing here. it depends on your plans for the car. coilovers are going to be too stiff to drive spirited on the street (unless its smooth of course). you will probably be more satisfied with springs/shocks/sways and the under braces as opposed to the coilovers by themselves.

if you are making an autocross/track/drift(on the track) car, then coilovers might be the better choice. coilovers will change your class or whatever they call it in scca, if that is a consideration.

you wouldnt be as satisified with aftermarket springs on stock dampers. they would wear them out fairly quickly depending on how new they are to start. you might as well get the dampers with the springs so you only have to put them on once.

i like having adjustability, and i really dont care about ride quality, so for my mostly daily driver/weekend track car i chose coilovers with 6/5Kg springs. 8/6 proved too stiff for the roads i drive on (maryland, baltimore area...they dont know how to pave around here =)

there are a lot opinions about coilovers on the forum, i think the most popular for the money is tein. i bought jic flt-a2's and put softer springs on them, but they will run you about 1600 for the coilovers and 95 for each new spring.

anyone else have some suggestions?
