I have an 06 m35x and I would like to freshen up my suspension. In the near future I plan on putting 20s on her. I would like to go with 19s but I'm Not gonna pay the price for 19 inch tires and limited availability, if I happen to be somewhere and something happens. I would like to keep the stock height. What are options out there for me.

I would get coilovers. Likely BC Racing but see if 'Scale Suspension' has a Y50 kit. Also, depending on how many miles on your car, I'd look at replacing the sway bar links, bushings, etc.

Yeah, I'd change all the small stuff too. There is HowTo's in the FAQ that I wrote on how to do it.

Ilya, I see how to for stabilizer links, but I don't see anything about bushings. Can you point me to the how to title? Thanks

I suppose it depends on which bushings you're going for. Generally I take the suspension member out and take it along with a new bushing to a machine shop... or use a press if you're lucky to have one at home.

The other bushings I'm thinking of that people usually stiffen up are differential bushings (the diff is a big boy to haul around and those don't wear fast in street driven cars) as well as subframe bushings, which you shouldn't have to mess with. IIRC, our cars have aluminum blocks for subframe mounts (at least in the front) so no worries there.

The bushing one might not exist. The sway bar bushing is super easy to replace (four nuts), you'll see it when you look at it. The other stuff I'd follow EdBoy's post.
