Is their an after market suspension that I can use the sport or touring button still and what does it actually do stiffen suspension?

As far as I know there is not an aftermarket strut which utilizes the touring/sport button and its actuators. Yes the button actually does stiffen the struts.

^^^Agreed, my suspension hunts have found no use of the stock TT settings switch...and the suspension definitely becomes stiffer when in Sport versus Touring.
Closest option is the Tein setup with EDFC, which in effect does the same thing but adjusts much more within the package you have.
Mark can talk about that, as he has Tein with EDFC IIRC...

So your saying to go with the tein or its not worth it ? I think it's pretty neat switching the stiffness at a flick of a switch

I guess what we are saying is that if you want switched suspension, your two choices are stock Z32TT, and Tein's coilovers with their EDFC added.
All other Z32 suspensions that I know of have a static system that is adjusted externally, and set until a settings change that requires jacking the car and manually adjusting each coilover.

I'm not sure if he says anything about them in his build thread, but the conversations I've had with him he's said he's happy with his setup and the EDFC works well...just not sure his exact setup, and I do know that currently his car is down while he services a small issue.
Here's the Tein site I've bookmarked for my reference to Tein's various Z32 setups...the page that comes up is not the lower-cost setups (it's my dream setup) but you should be able to access the rest to see their pricing and variations.

No problem, and BTW just remembered that my Z mechanic (when I can't handle my problem) has a partner Eric with a 2+2 he's built up a bit, and using Tein with which he is very happy with and runs very low.
I don't believe Eric uses EDFC, but good info just for some Tein product quality feedback purposes...

Yes I have the Tein Flex with EDFC, that was the only viable option I could come up with to retain the stiffness adjustment. I used the factory switch all the time so I wanted something which would allow me to adjust stiffness from the drivers seat just like the factory switch so I decided to go with the EDFC system. It is very easy to install and you can adjust the front and rear independently which is cool IMHO.

How much was it and where did you buy it from. And doesn't thE stock switch control all 4 at the same time?

It was $1,800 for the coilovers and EDFC - I purchased through SZ.

Yes the stock switch does control all 4 actuators simultaneously.

The EDFC system will also adjust all 4 simultaneously when you go between presets.
