suspension question

I know it's in the wrong forum, but since there are more people on here than the suspension forum, I hope my question get answered.

If i was going to buy springs and struts, I know I have to take my stock one apart to get the pillow mount on to the aftermarket setups. Now, my question is: Is it worth it to do that or get the pillow mount separate...I'm talking about advantage and disavantage. I know that it save time, and you know you have the complete stock struts setup in hand, what other ones?
