Suspension question, really dumb one, sorry in advance...

I have a 89 240 with 241K on it and it rides pretty rough, the shocks are good as in they don't leak and I was wondering if I replaced the springs alone, which are original, would that improve the ride? I know its dumb to ask its just that I'm not an expert and want to see if I can get away with just replacing the springs, although with the cost would it also be worth it? I'd appreciate any advice.

you "can" just replace the springs but for the cost of the springs and the labor to get them re assembled and so forth you might as well invest in some coilovers but be wary on what coilovers you get and I wouldnt recommend anything more stiff then an 8k/6k set up for daily driving. GL =)

coilovers give you a ruff ride and so do lowering shocks 240s are pretty ruff in general its just the way they handle and theres no such thing as a stupid question

agreed, if your looking for something to upgrade to look into a nismo suspension set-up, they arent too expensive and will replace all the main components gl.
