Have an 08 Coupe 2.5S that stock except Eibach Pro Kit and 18" 350z wheels.

In the last month or so the car is starting to get scary. When I hit bumps it feels like it has little to no grip and sometimes jumps left or right. When I'm on smooth surfaces its pretty good. Also is seems to not want to drive straight (but does not pull one way) it more of just kinda wanders around on the road. When I'm on a bumpy road it gets really scary cause I feel like its bouncing left and right and not straight.

I had the tires balanced a few months ago and suspension aligned (maybe its times to get them checked?). Any ideas on what to check and where to start? Alignment? Balanced tires? Loose suspension? Blown shocks? Give me ideas and experience! I'll most likely take it to the shop in the next couple of weeks when I'm not so busy and have vacation time around XMAS.

Hmmm... maybe the wheels lost a weight on a hard bump...Do you have hub rings installed?

Sometimes i get the same feeling KINDA when im on super rough road, but i have 20" summer tires...

hmmm im running pretty much the same setup 18x8 350z wheels with an eibach drop. running 245x45 dunlop DZ101 tires. I dont get that feeling you're talking about. but with th weather fluxuating so much here in texas some days its 70 some days its 30 my tire pressure keeps changing so ive noticed my car pulls alot because I need to put air in my tires now. you might wanna check tire pressure, check tire wear like lbc says have a tire shop check and make sure one of the balancing weights didnt fall off. hope you get it figured out. good luck

Finally got the car into the shop. The rear tires are bald and alignment on one of the rear wheels was knocked out. Didn't even think the rear tires would be near bald since they only have 10,000 miles on them. But they are the stock 350z tires and I just read something saying they are rated to get about 10,200 miles..... So getting new tires on later today and the alignment already helped a little.

i just posted a similar problem and then read your post. did you ever determine the cause? My Altima 2.5S is stock, and I've been unhappy with the ride since I bought it. I think its a combination of the stock tires and the stock shocks.

I have an 07 3.5 SE with only 10,000 miles on it and if I floor it on a highway and I hit even a small bump the thing will jump everywhere. I have to hang on to it for dear life. I always thought that's just how they were built but maybe I should get it looked at. My alignment is perfect so I really don't know what it is.
