So i recently took my coupe into the shop to get the brakes fixed, a couple hours later i find out that i need new shocks and struts. This could possibly be because of my 20" wheels and low profile tires (came with the car unfortunately). Now their quoting me around 1k to replace them and all that. I dont know what to do because im most likely getting the eibachs installed and i dont know if i need aftermarket shocks and struts for the eibachs or just the stock ones the shop would install, and does that price seem a little steep for the new shock and strut setup? By the way im going to be getting new wheels 18s. Appreciate any help thanks.

Welcome!
I ran eibachs and super heavy 20s for 2 yrs and 30k miles no issues... I know someone whose running them for even longer too!

I think thats expensive, where are you located?

Don't do it. For $1000, you could buy coilovers and install them yourself. Forget Eibach.

So i decided my brother and i are just going to do the eibach springs, shocks, and struts install ourselves.I already have the springs, However as far as the shocks and struts go, i noticed kyb makes just the gr2 shocks for our cars so should i just purchase these and then maybe some oem struts? thanks
