What is the NAME of this PART? because my tire keeps rubbing against it and i just replaced my rims in the front! it is happening on my driver's side front! It rubs when i go 30+ mph and extremely rubs when i make right turns.

I hit a curb not too long ago. i replaced the front rims and tires, they are balanced and i already got an alignment. When i turn the wheel right and am going 0-30 it does not rub, but when i go 30+ it rubs minorly going straight and if i even jerk the wheel a tad to the right it rubs like crazy. i dont know what the name of that part is in the picture, it rubs against that because i took the tire off and seen that it has black scuff/rub marks on it. any answers would be appreciated.

(Note to anyone else reading this... he figured out the name of the part in his other post within the G35 forum.)

Assuming you didn't change to larger wheels or wider tires, it's probably rubbing because you bent this part or one that it attaches to when you hit the curb.
