i own a 90 240 and when i turn it feels like it takes suspension a second to respond. this happens wether turning left or right it feels like there hesitation from going straight to turnng once i start turning its very responsing. also when going about 50-55 miles an hour it starts shaking preety good i first thought it was my wheels out of balance or rotor or something but i just changed all rotors and brakes and had my wheels balanced does anyone know what might be causeing this? any input is appriciated thanks

there is a huge amount of information on this forum about this specific problem, i know ive given a general description of the front end several times myself, so you could look around for past suggestions.

the first two things that come to mind are tires (not just balancing, the tread wear) and tension rod bushings. if the bushings have not been replaced on your car at some point in time, they are gone. spl tension rods are the best improvement ive done to the front end of my car, or you could go for bushings.

other than that there are a host of wearable items on the front end, including lca bushings and ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, spindle bearings, and steering rack bushings. not to mention your shocks, tho these are easy to single out when looking for the cause of a problem and where they may also need replacing, i dont think they are the cause of your problem.

+1 for tension rod bushings.
