my 2006 M35x with 87,000 miles is jumping mostly to the right when I drive over asphalt street patches or going across big intersections. It makes a clunking sound, I know the suspension may need some TLC but don't know where to start. Is there a M35 lover out there who can give me a few pointers?

Hi there, I believe this may be your sway bar end links/stabilizer links. What is the condition of those?

I'm having the same issues. Recently replaced lower control arms on both sides and noise remains. Will replace sway bar end links to see if that resolves the issue

Does your steering wheel jiggle a little as you drive and maybe sometimes as you brake?
Mine did/does and I did come to isolate not only the stabilizer links but the stabilizer bar bushings as well. Almost 200,000 miles on the odo.
The car is still on jackstands as I refresh front and rear components, but as you can imagine suspension noise can be quite a rabbit hole of real issues that need addressed, but aren't quite the main issue you went in for.

Good luck, and let us share updates

I have an 06 m35x. Had the car for 6 years 145000 miles and counting

Over the years ive changed out practically the entire front suspension. New lower and upper control arms. Inner and outter tie rods. Sway bar links. Swaybar bushing

Change your swaybar bushings and end links.

But check your upper control arms as well. Mines were making a clunking/knocking noise when it went bad
