Ok i have a 93 240sx se basically stock (injen intake). I've been told a great mod is new shocks and springs. My ride is very bumpy and annoying. I would like it lowered 1"-2" but much smoother ride. What shock/spring combo and brands would you guys suggest? I dont street race, so comfortability over performance is what i want.

Eibach pro kit springs and KYB AGX's is a very popular settup for performance and comfortability on 240's. That way you can adjust the pressure on the AGX's for whatever you feel like. I went with Eibach Sportline springs though because I wanted my car to sit lower and be a little stiffer. There's tons of info on here about suspension. Just search. Also, you might want to look here instead of general chat. http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....d=140

sorry about the lack of detail = (.Price range - up to $500 give or take for both springs & strutsGoals - No turba, keeping NA, basic mods to make driving it better/more funUse: Mostly street, no racing at all. I live in suburb of Seattle so road construction etc makeit very bumpy at timesPriority of what im looking for:1) Smoother ride2)performance cornering3) lowering

check out the eibach setup mentioned above, that will prove very nice for what you're looking for. you could even use the less expensive KYB GR-2 shocks.strut instead of AGX, since you probably wont need the added adjustability.

:)-chet(as an option, you could try whiteline springs, instead of eibach...either will be nice.)

not sure, but you might ask around about old school air shocks, like bags, give smooth ride and you can adjust hight, not sure about price or cornering though,,,, sway bars should take care of that X

ProKit, not Sportline and I'd go with the AGX. They are not that much more and you have the ability to firm them up as they wear. That will give you a lot more usable life from the dampers. All dampers will wear out as they are used.

i am looking to get the eibach prokit, but i would rather not upgrade the shocks if possible. is this an option or will the ride be ridiculous?
