This maybe a little off-topic for some of yall, sorry about that. Can anyone recomend a lift kit for an 05 Frontier Nismo? I remember seeing one somewhere, but dont remember where now. I dont want the one that is spacer/block for the front/rear.

Thats a cool site nismofly.

That 5 inch lift kit looks very well thought out, but doesnt seem like that big of a lift for $1300. When I think of raising a truck, I want that ***** 5 feet in the air.

Maybe its the Cali in me. Oh wait, I live in Illinois.

Oh don't do that. That kit already uses all drop brackets and lengthend steering knuckles (that large chunk of cast iron really helps your unsprung weight too). Granted for a big lift you'll need to rotate the transfer case and still put drop brackets all over, but you'll also need all new suspention up front.

It would all have to be custom built, you'd want a stronger transmission and transfer case, rear axle and all new heavy duty drivetrain up front. Then to stop your huge 44" tall 100lb tires, you'd need some massive brakes. Once that is all done, your engine would supply enough power to make your truck accelerate like a geo even with some 5.88:1 gears.

I would suggest sticking with a 4-6" lift for cost and practicality purposes.
