aerospeed. they make mostly honda stuff i think, how much money do you have to spend on suspension? personally i wouldnt get arospeed coilovers.

cheap *** and coilovers don't usually work well. Trying to save money on important things like suspension will haunt you in the long run... believe me, I did the same thing. It will cost you more down the line.

Anyway, megan racing coilovers are very affordable for the quality (as said by other members who bought and reviewed them). Right now they are $950 shipped from underground - one of our sponsors. I think it's in the Advertiser's special forum.

Also, do you NEED coilovers? For most people, a solid spring/strut combo works great... like kyb agx + sportlines, or koni yellows + sportlines or ground control or tein springs. Those can be had for anywhere between 600-700.

Cheap coilovers are usually cheap -> won't last long and won't work the well.

Arospeed makes some rather pimp CF goodies for Hondas/Acuras, I don't think I'd buy their coilovers for a 240sx though...

It's hard to argue with $950 for the Megans, aside from a couple of super-minor install issues, I haven't heard anyone say a bad thing about them.

I think they're actually identical to the new Apex N1 EXV's, I know the same company makes both, but I heard from a couple people that it's actually the same coilover, w/coloring differences.

I can't believe you just insulted and wasted everyone's time by replying w/ something like that. I should have figured you'd say something like that from your initial post, but COME ON!

You want to spend 200? Fine, get a set of ebay coilover springs for $80 and put them on your stock shocks and bounce around town like those kids w/ cut springs or who only spent money on springs and blew the hell out of their shocks.

Or better yet, just cut your springs 1 or 2 coils - costs you nothing & you get a lowered ride.

Just don't come crying back here when you crash your car into the side of a mountain because you couldn't control your ride...

forget it i baught the tein full coilover damper drift kit earlier today used for $500

at the shop we have unsuccessfully tried to install 2 sets of arospeed coilovers. they are CRAP. if you arent gonna spend money on a good coilover, do NOT BUY COILOVERS. get springs if you only want to spend 200$. eibach is great.
