Ok I installed my nismo power brace. i noticed that I now have very little space between the brace and my sway bar. I was wondering if any has the power brace and aftermarket sway bars?? If so what sway bars are you using?? If I cant change the sway bar I guess I will install strut bars instead

Thanks again in advance

Jason

The suspension forum is dead because its fricken late. Also:

That's right; the reason you can't get a quick answer in the subsections is because YOU DON'T POST THERE ENOUGH!

there should be no clearance issues. It should be the same fitment as oem, cuz they arent beefier or anything. The sway bar D bushings are supposed to rest on them. Loosen your endlinks to give it play when you're tryin to install it

I have Nismo power brace with Progress sway bar, and I have no clearance issue. They are close to each other, but when the sway bar moves, it'll never touch power brace.

That's exactly what I did. I swung sway bar around before I installed endlinks to see if it touches anything, and it didn't. You don't have to worry.

how much thicker is the sway bar over stock. I was looking to get whitelines (not sure at the moment how thick they are) If the progress bar is the only one that'll fit that makes that decision on what bars to get a lot easier.

Both of them are 27mm. Check this site. It's very informative.

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/N..._Bars

This is the endlink that comes with Whiteline sway bars. They tend to bind.

You can buy these end links from PDM. Available for only for the front and price is $83.25 per pair.

These end links come with Progress sway bars front and rear. I did a lot of research and ended up getting Progress bars. Good quality, perfect fitment, 3-way adjustable front and back, and most of all, come with nice end links. Customer support was awsome too.

Check this thread. Whiteline sway bar couldn't clear Yashi Factory core support guard, but Progress bar did.zerothread?id=268894

I highly recommend Progress sway bars.

thanks 94_240sx that was extremely helpful. It looks like I will be getting some progress sway bars in the near future.
