Hell, a stock suspension can handle drifting. Choice of parts is up to you and your budget. As for value, you might want to consider how much each set has been used. And how much life they have left depends on how long it was used and for what purpose. And Ground Control what? They make a few different parts that might fit the 240.

any of the set ups you mentioned will have you off to a good start, but if you do have a little drifting in mind id go w./ the ground conrtol coil overs insted of the lowering spring b/c the higher springs rate will help some when drifting.

dori2 s13coupe,

Maybe I'm getting senile as I approach 30, but didn't you just ask this question a day ago?

Anyway, I think you'd probably enjoy either setup. As C-Kwik said, make sure the one you get is in good condition. For what it's worth, I believe Koni's can be rebuilt if they're blown, but it may cost almost as much as a new AGX.

This may sound silly, but you probably want to make sure your car is in good condition before you mod it. Maintenance first, mods second. Of course, you can always replace the damaged parts with cool aftermarket ones. That's what I'm gonna do. Out with the blown OE shocks, in with the Koni Sport! :D

Buy new parts. You aren't saving too much on this stuff. If I were to buy either though (used), I'd go Koni and haggle the price a little lower. I like Koni b/c they are rebuildable and when you get them rebuilt you can get them custom valved to suite your needs. Hell, you can even get them modified to have external bound and rebound adjustment. Anyway, that's just my $.02.

i would buy used springs if the price is right, but shocks are a very different picture. You don't know of the normal use they had. 1K Miles or 20k Miles is probably not a good deal unless you get them dirt ship.

I bought a set of AGX fronts and Koni's Backs for my S14, the back shocks blow out on me 6 months after, i had to shell out another 250 for new shocks.
