I'm looking for exceptional high speed stability & good handling in the twisties.

I would like to get opinions from many people since many of these pars are available for many different cars.

Here's my Setup so far.

350Z S-Tech Springs

Spring Rate:Front: 390 lbs/inRear: 400 lbs/in

TOKICO HP BLUE STRUTS

*JDM* Rear Lower Tie Bar (GTSPEC knockoff)

Stillen Rear Camber arms.

RR 279s18x8.5 front with 245/40/18 tires. 18x9.5 rear with 275/40/18 tires.

______________________________________

I need help with the rest of the setup. Keep in mind I looking to get the most bang for my buck. I don't have a ton of $$ to spend on this so I plan on doing it piece by piece.

Are there other chassis bracing options other then GTSPEC ?? I have the knockoff lower tie bar ($30, authentic costs $80) but have not seen cheaper options for the mid point and front braces.

What sways should I go with? Godspeed sways are $190 shipped front and rear.. How much better are they then the stock G35 sport sways? Tanabes are almost 2X the cost is it worth it?

Does energy suspension have a kit for the G35?? I did not see one. What's the best poly bushing setup for the G35?

What options do I have for transmission and engine mounts? I would like to go with a firmer setup.

What else do you recommend?

I don't have too much to add besides trying to find JDM parts for the Skyline...You might get more results that way.

S-techs for that car are surprisingly stiff. What are the stock rates? Cause I know on their honda springs, s-techs have stock rates. What you have is a 7/7 in metric rates, thats good for lowering springs...

G forum is your friend since the performance of the parts often varies car to car.

The suspension forum would be a better spot for a wide-scope info dig like this.

The problem is our G35 owners don't know Jack about more advanced modifications... most just take it to a shop/dealer to get the work done.

I know for a fact none of them have ever done the type of in-depth suspension work I plan on.

Coilovers sound like what will be best for you if you are planning to do the type of upgrades. Unfortunately, they are not cheap.

Bushings for our cars are very hard to find. I've never seen a lot of options for these but am interested if you find anything out there.

Sway bars...there are several brands worth getting. I've never heard of Godspeed, what are the specs on those?

Most people have the Cusco, Hotchkis, Stillen or NISMO. I know COBB tuning also makes them. I'd say Stillen and Hotchkis are most common. I went with the Stillen (up to 70% stiffer), but if cost wasn't an issue would have gone with Cusco. With new sways you might also consider getting different end links. With the stiffer settings of the sway you will probably need shorter end links. They make some aftermarket adjustable ones that I have seen.

The GTSpec mid chassis brace and lower tie bar braces are supposed to be very effective in lowering chassis flex. Beancooker installed these just recently. I've never heard of any other brands in these. You can often times find good prices on these used.

Strut braces (FSTB) are an option you might want to consider as well.

I have this on the back burner right now. Too many more important things to deal with.

I would personally go with the chassis bracing, FSTB, and swaybars first.

Then decide what level of suspension you want. This is opposite of the way most people go, but I think it will allow you to determine how much suspension tuning you need versus trying to figure out if it's the suspension or chassis flexing.

If you don't use your back seats, you could do a crossbeam behind the seats and do multipoint restraints too hehehe.

Just adding this for the fanbois...

Cheap to midlevel coilovers are WORSE then high end shocks and struts. Don't by into the hype of 'coilovers are the best'.

I bet some extremely well valved shocks with your current setup would help you out the most.
