Hey guys

I have a question, so my 06 m35x started making some clunking noisefrom the front end while going over bumps and ride quality started becoming very rough even on slightly bumpy roads. Tires are in good shape(9K miles on them) , alignment is good but the car has 182K miles on it.
Also, when i run over curvy roads i feel like i loose steering for a second.
Long story short, took it to the mechanic and he said front shocks are almost locked "dead" and driver side lower control arm bushing is bad.
Any recommendations before i go ahead and replace those items? my only concern is ride quality. I dont think the m35x is that terrible in ride quality when it was brand new.

Thanks

OEM is your only option if you want ride quality. You can get OEM-like ride quality if you run a set of coilovers on their softest setting, but static springs will be harsher IMO.

I would recommend BC Racing or D2 Racing coilovers. Although there is a new company called SCALE which seems pretty decent but not sure if they make any for the 06-10 M's.
