This post is for a number of swap ins for suspension and breaks on the B13 chasis.

You can swap in the SE-R front suspension right? And NX2k brakes onto the B13 Sentras? Is it possible to swap G20 stuff onto the sentras? There suspension is better.Am i missing any really good swap ideas? Is NX2k suspension better as well than SE-R suspension?

Yes. Yes. I'd think you could, but G20s are a different chassis, so... it'd probably be just a wee bit too big for a B.Ummm... why swap when you can upgrade? I think the NX2k and the SE-R have very similar suspensions, so if either is better, it's not by much. Why not upgrade though?

Oh, and this belongs in Sentra General, but whatever's cool by me.

For example the old G20 uses a good Multilink out front, and the Multilink Beam system that is used in the rear of the current G20 is used in other cars i think (including the old NX2k?) The paiting of these on the new G20 has been good (according to SCC) so i was wondering if i could fit this under an old B13 Sentra.

I believe I have a multilink beam in the back too, lol. (B15)

It wouldn't surprise me if the P-chassis suspension components were the exact same as the B, but once again I have to say why not just upgrade? Or buy OEM-replacement parts, which are cheaper but have the same effect.

Cause i tihnk for the Sentras at least those are upgrades. And the parts are easier to find (and cheaper) then Aftermarket parts.

My point is, why not do a true upgrade. Any stock suspension from any of those cars isn't going to be all that much better than what's already there. There's such a massive difference between a good stock suspension and a good aftermarket one it's not even funny. My car came stock with the same suspension as the base SE-R now uses (actually, the rear spring rates are higher, I think) and weighs about 150-200lbs less, so it handled GREAT. However, with the Konis and Sportlines there's no comparison. Feel is vastly improved and I still have yet to get any loss of traction (except a slight power-over, how that happened I don't know, but I have basically bald tires in the rear, so that made sense).

The P chasis suspension isn't going to work on the B13 chasis, B14 chasis yes. I say B14 chasis, because in order to upgrade the suspension on the p11 G20 in the rear, you have order 200sx struts. Your best upgrade for suspension is AGX's and either hyperco springs or H & R springs. NX2k brakes are a good brake upgrade and very easy to install. The only real OEM suspension upgrade that would be worth it is from the GTiR. Good luck finding though.

Yea SCC did some good stuff with Hyperco springs recently. Just a technobabble about G20 stuff made me interested. Ive heard of NX2k Springs.

Does anyone know where the SCC Se-R stuff is online. Not under the project cars on their site .

Yeah, it like disappeared. I was going to go through all my old SCCs and find some articles, but if you read the April(?) 2005 magazine they brought the SE-R back. In that article, they said that mnay of the parts were now not available. (that's why I decided the looking can wait)

Read my sig, old setup. I will soon add and rear strut bar and change out to the ST sway bar. Should be a bad *** setup for sure then.

Lol, yeah it should, you should put in the solid piece of steel that SCC have behind the backseat though. Intresting way to deal with a filmsy large rectangluar opening.
