Well, I trashed both the front and rear shocks on the right side of my '94. I was thinking that instead of just replacing them, I would upgrade. What advice do you guys have? I'm focused more on luxury than sportiness. There are two main categories in concerned with: Comfort and cost. Just wondering what you guys think.

Only Tokico makes replacements and OEM, blue and black, respectively.

Ton of information in the posts. Try a search on suspension. Blues are 15% stiffer, but most prefer them.

Agreed. Not much to do here as far as upgrades for the Q in terms of comfort and cost. A few additional things can be done for performance at higher speeds and hard aggressive cornering, but not much more can be done for comfort and cost then the Tokico Blacks or Blues. We have an over-engineered car.....

Well, had it looked at at the garage, and it seems I hosed my right strut too. I've looked on Ebay and can only find strut mounts. Mechanic says that if they order the part, it'll run me $700. Anyone know a cheaper source?

must get them from joe with new dust boots (dust boots are included in his price, and yes, the dust boots are that expensive)

Get the sway bar bushings and spring mounts (?, I think they are called) also.

The term dust boot is confusing in that the unit contains an integral multiple bump stop which is why it's needed besides extending the life of the shock.

Thanks a bunch for all the help. Few more questions. For one, is there anything I may need besides the strut and the "dust boot"? I mean OEM parts, not upgrades. Also, does Joe do overnight delivery? My ride and handling are borderline dangerous and I need to get the car into the shop ASAP. Again, thanks.
