I've almost completely decided turboing the KA is the best route to go as jap engines are no good cause the "$100 handshake" is becoming quite difficult in NJ from what others are telling me and because it seems pretty cost effective for what I want out of it.

Anyway, I'd like to hear from people who have bought a brand-name kit (Nsport, FMax, etc.) only. I know it's possible to put together something cheaper, etc. but I'd specifically like to hear from kit owners. If you guys could answer some questions for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

1. What year 240 do you own?2. Who's kit did you buy and what stage (if applicable)?3. Who installed it?4. Who tuned it (if necessary) and how difficult/expensive was it to tune?5. How much boost and, if you have dynoed it, what kind of power are you making?6. What do you use it for (daily driven, drag/street race, autocross/track race, weekend toy, etc.)?7. Have you ever put it through inspection legally (if so, what state)?8. Have you had any problems with it, large or small, since it was installed?

Thanks guys, this would really help me alot in deciding what to do.

Fine, I will search if you can tell me a good keyword that will bring up posts about kit owners without flooding the results with random posts about turbos or posts with the word "kit" in them not pertaining to turbos (brake kits, body kits, etc). I've tried using the search and since these types of forums have extremely basic and relatively useless query tools, I'm instead asking outright.

The best way to search for this particular info would be to type in the specific names for each turbo kit one at a time. Then see what people have to say about them. It will take awhile.

If you want, Take all the good info you get for each kit and send it to me. I'll make a sticky for it.

Try searching for "nsport fmax"

Worked for me. Maybe the search wizard was feeling a little lazy earlier.
