Sure, Fox is a news organization

A place for intelligent and well-thought-out discussion involving politics and associated topics. No nonsense will be tolerated at all.

From http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2011/ ... lin-story/

"You gotta hand it to Tina Fey. Her impression of former politician and current celebrity Sarah Palin is so good, Fox News can't even tell them apart.

Reporting on Palin's heavily hyped One Nation bus tour, the channel actually used a photo of the 30 Rock star impersonating her in a faux debate.

Maybe they just prefer to look at Tina? Doubtful. Way to go, guys. As if this weren't absurd enough, Palin herself is a contributor to the network!

We haven't seen a move this boneheaded on camera since somebody claimed Paul Revere warned the British instead of the colonists ..."

Looks like Fox did their normal amount of checking, verifying and verifying source material. Namely, NONE.

Take Fox off the air.

Tina Fey is a hotty though, but Palins jaw line is wider.

A network supporter and they can't tell that apart?

I agree.. FOX sucks! They are embarrassing.

I will say that many of the other networks are obviously liberally biased, but none are so over-the-top and stupid as Fox. How lame!

I think I'll start watching BBC for US news.

In all fairness to Fox, I must point out the farce that is MSNBC also. After Brian Williams told the audience that they would not cover "Wienergate" because they had more important stories to report on he proceeded to cover the "story" of the Palin - Paul Revere mistake. Just as poor a "news" organization at the other end of the spectrum.

If we even watch the news on tv we catch the KTLA Morning News in the a.m. so my wife can check her morning commute route. Occasionally we watch PBS in the evening for their Newshour followed by 1/2 hour of BBC followed by 1/2 hour of Al-Jazeera. Figure we're getting more balanced that way. Most of my news starts online with BBC, Reuters and the L.A. Times. Then I go looking for more info on the stories I find interesting or worthy of a closer look. That's why I rarely link to them here; I've moved from them as I look into some of these things more deeply.
