hi, i have had my s13 240 for almost 4 months and i am thinking of upgrading it. my friend has a 90 toyota supra with the 7M GTE engine. I was wondering if the turbo would work on my 240 and what other parts i would need

?? why not?

Any turbo will work on any car. Some just take more fabrication than others. I'm not familiar with the model turbo on the MKIII supra, but I'm sure u can get it to work.

its got an internal wastegate, actually they dont call it a "wastegate", its an "actuator valve"

they call it a CT-26, no ball-bearings, spits out heat at around 15-16 lbs on the 3.0 Liter 6, dunno where it'll start that on a 2.4,

dont remember if it'll be higher or lower depending on diplacement

theres an upgrade for it they clip the turbine, throw some bearings in and its good to go, around 900 bux i think

EDIT: i use to be a supra freak, till i gave up on making 3600 lb. cars fast;)

I owned the same MKIII Supra with the same turbo and it's just not worth it. The CT-26 is an alright turbo, but you would just be better off getting a new Garrett T4. CT-26s are hard to find used because so many MKIII owners need them.

I used to have a MKIII Supra also, very crummy boost since the turbo is so small. I can get you brand new t60-1s for a very good price if you need.

got a Mitsubishi TD06 19C that bolts onto the stock manifold with an included adapter. It's actuated so you don't need to get a wastegate. Interested?

What kind of gains would you be looking at from a used MKIII Supra turbo bolted on to a 240sx?Assuming you have BPU, and an intercooler (if neccessary...)I'm guessing you would need a custom manifold for it to fit in the first place though...
