I know for 100% CT26's came on the 89 to 93 version with the 7M-GTE.

The newer Supras did get a upgraded turbo's, which had ceramic ball bearings and all the Jazz.

But since they were both connected in a series, not your conventional parallel set up. Toyota decided to use two smaller versions of the turbo's.

Thats why the Supra started boosting at 1800rpm, then transferring pre boost to the second turbo so that by 3500 RPM the second turbo was fully spooled up and kicked in.

This is actually a very very interesting, and efficient setup, and probably one of the only reason why someone would run twin turbos.

But to answer your question, I don't think one of those turbos would be as efficient on a KA24, You could try it but it might run out of breath pretty quickly.
